Founded in 1999, The New Shul is a progressive, independent, creative community exploring meaningful ways to experience Jewish life and ritual in the 21st century. The New Shul welcomes people of all religions, races, and gender who would like to creatively celebrate Judaism. We are a community of learning, art, music, and engagement with the world, one that pursues justice and practices inclusivity. We invite you to join us in our ongoing work to build a context for Jewish experience that is stimulating, joyful, and relevant to our contemporary lives.
